I have a question about the final counting of tiles. The bot takes into account the starting tile from its trade track (Pittenweem/Tap O'Noth), but does not take into account its starting "castle". And how should a player count his double starting tile??? It doesn't count it at all either, does it count as 1 or does it count as 2 tiles ???

Turning (not flipping) the "first card of Act 3 and Act 4" upside down during deck preparation is, I imagine, a fine way to have a mnemonic for recalling the random reinforcement with Un-Zed.

These are great! One minor correction: 34:58 if a Hero* unit (as opposed to a Civilian unit) passes its Saving Roll (6.3) it returns to the Town Center “on its full-strength side if it is a Hero unit.” And such is needed!

What is a "round"? The rules online do not explain, nor does anyone else's vids. Nor does the game designer explain concept of rounds, phases, actions and how many in a game per players.

Long time ago ... but at 20:20, why is the place with the encounter a valid hex? Because the Homebase have only the 2 hexes with the starting worker on it as neighborhood?

Many thanks for this playthrough as it gives me faith, that you can beat this game. So far I had 6 unsuccesful tries. Clever usage of the card effects, I learned a lot. And now some funny stuff... so card "Huldre" you speak out as "Hure", so I could not hear the "L" or "D"... and "Hure" is the german word for whore, bitch.... ... so always when you played this card, me beeing german, I needed to grin.

Great play through. Captures the feel of the game perfectly. Goes from "oh I got this" to Erik, Erik, Erik...there's gotta be a way to squeeze out a win somehow. Yesssssss. Great design, loving it so far but I'm nowhere close to the 75% win rate mentioned in the rulebook...closer to 25% but having a blast figuring out the nuances and interactions. Any solo player reading this...buy the game ASAP. Theme is cool, game is tight and quite different from anything I've played so far while still feeling familiar, art and style is magnificent.

Besser kann man es nicht erklären. Sprechgeschwindigkeit und Darstellung sind perfekt. Wesentlich besser als die Regeln zu lesen bzw eine optimale Abrundung, bevor man mit dem Spielen anfängt.

Question about your Laura automa for Clank: how do you make the AI harder? Maybe include AI cards 6, 7, and/or 8 in the initial AI draw deck, rather than have them starting in the discard pile? Or is playing against two AIs harder than one?

I've just played my first game and i played against Cynthia. This is a genius AI! I lost, however, 39 - 79. Curses!

My only question is what about solo or single player? It says it can be done on the box. Is there any changes for how to play that way? I don't see anything in the manual about it.

i'm loving it so far. admittedly, i have only played it once, tonight, when i had to wave the white flag with one minion left on the table and an almost exclusively adversary draw deck, of course, because i chose to ignore important ally powers and, well, most likely also because i got something wrong, who doesn't :D i'm very much looking forward to playing it again (and again and again) and getting the hang of it - your videos will certainly help, thank you, Lines. and, of course, thanks to Morten for designing the game, Vincent for the gorgeous artwork, and Shadi/InPatience for getting it out into the world.

I need to get my hands on this game, just for your excellent automa. When it comes to games with an automa deck of 10 or so cards, I love writing down which cards come out so that I have a good idea about what action card will come next every time the deck is shuffled. I absolutely hate relying on memory because that brings more unexpected randomness. You should always know in advance what the automa is *likely* to do next so that you can plan your strategy around it.

rules question: is it possible to use vogter's gambit, if no tree is empty?

That was a superb example of the base game. It's refreshing to see a playthrough of a game by someone who has clearly played it many times and understands a) the rules and b) good tactics. It was also nice to hear the joy of the play coming through in the narration. Thanks Lines!

Thanks for posting the videos on Warp’s Edge. Both play thrus were clean games. Well, except for a minor mistake here at 20:52 where you spent 2 energy to gain a maneuver token. The Shade’s ability was still in effect, so the cost is still one extra energy. Oh, and at 44:22, you don’t have to keep the level 2 energy in the hold just to have it for a later activation of the Fateful Lasers. You can pay activation costs of a skill at any time and don’t need to use the skill immediately. This means you could have spent the level 2 energy to activate the skill, and stored the level 1 energy in the hold (or activate yet another skill).

This has been so helpful. Best tutorial on Tapestry solo play that I have found. Well done 👍

There are 3 cases for the Legendary cars: 1. Before the Legendary line and far enough from the next curve line to use the high number in the bottom section of the card: Use this number. 2. Before the Legendary line but the number on the bottom of the card would move it over the next curve line: Don‘t use the number. Instead place the car in the space with the number on the top of the card. 3. After the Legendary line: Add the top number of the the card to the speed limit of the next curve and move the car that number of spaces.

Sorry, but I don't understand how the drivers moved in the corner after the start the one with speed limit 10. The red car moves 13 in your example while on the Legend Card you see the number 19. Further why Black go for eleven ? Since I am at the first games I still have several doubts about how the game works especially about using the legend drivers. Thanks for the help

Britain is absolutely brutal track with Legends... I've yet to win here playing against Legends. :F

Great videos, this was close and I don't think you could have made any different decisions to go faster. I'm finding the Legends quite difficult to beat! However, I've only played the core game so far. I will try again with upgrades, weather etc. Really enjoying playing Heat!

On the first curve, why did the AI cars go the whole distance? They had passed the Legend line. Shouldn't they have just done 10+ the number on the card?
